UQRIG's Student Exec

From the OGs to the new MVPs continuing to increase club activities and engagement, come get to know us!

Our Start

Hi there! My name is Tonchanok Intaprasert, but since you're getting to know me here already - you can just call me "Can". I founded UQRIG because I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved looking at grey scales (don't judge until you try - at our UQRIG academic events of course😉) but still making it ✨medicine ✨.

Because I found my interest so close to the end of med school, I wanted to start this group to get students more opportunities to be exposed and involved in radiology from the get-go. Since then, we've had multiple events each month ranging from academic workshops/ seminars, training pathway advice, and networking socials - all thanks to the amazing support from Brisbane radiologists and trainees.

As I've recently graduated and will be interning outside of Brissy, I'd like to introduce you all to the amazing team of students who came on board as the very first group of execs to help establish UQRIG; and the ones who will be making sure that you continue to have access to current (and more) amazing events (scroll down to read all about them)! For now, I'm back to packing for my move but if you remain engaged with UQRIG, I will see you around in an advisory capacity as I hand over the club presidency to our first VP.

Bye for now!

Can Intaprasert,

UQRIG Founder & June 2021 - '22 President
